This workshop series is for both dancers new to the 5Rhythms practice and those who have danced hundreds of dances. All are welcome! 

Slowing down, connecting with spirit and breath, can lead to a sense of inner peace and contentment. It's a reminder that peace and stillness are always accessible within us, even amid the chaos of life. Stillness serves as a vital component for balancing our overall energy. Knowing when to slow down. If a race-car tries to go 100% around the curves, it’s going to crash. We too crash in different ways when we continue to push ourselves. Slowing down leads to a deeper understanding of oneself and a greater capacity for presence, self-acceptance, and inner peace while keeping our awareness of what's essential and needed.

Creating Access not Scarcity: Following the class and economic justice sliding scale created by Alexis J. Cunningfolk, please review and select the price point below that allows you to attend the workshops. Discounts available are on a first come basis (10 discount spaces available) and our hope is to create a space where all can participate so reach out if you need further assistance.  

Full Price for one Day  $150: I am comfortably able to meet all my basic needs, I am employed or do not need to work, I have access to financial savings and have an expendable income and can afford at least an annual vacation. I may struggle at times, but overall I feel financially comfortable. 

Partial Discount: $112.50 (25% Discount) Use code DISCOUNT25% when registering: I may stress about meeting my basic needs, but still regularly achieve them, I may have some debt, but it does not prohibit attainment of basic needs, I may have access to financial savings and have some expendable income and can take a vacation annually or every few years. 

Full Discount $90 (40% Discount) use code DISCOUNT40% when registering : I frequently stress about meeting my basic needs and don’t always achieve them, I have debt that sometimes prohibits me from meeting my basic needs, I rent lower end properties or have unstable housing, I am unemployed or underemployed without access to savings, I have no or very limited expendable income and cannot afford or have the ability to take time off work for a vacation without financial burden. 

***Basic needs include food, housing and transportation.

Wellness Measures: Please attend only if you are feeling well, we are responsible for ourselves and our community.  All are welcome to wear a mask and take as much space as you need and feel comfortable.  If you have been exposed to Covid or anything else, have a positive test or feel symptoms please reach out for a refund (minus $30 processing fee) or use your pass for a later workshop   By attending you are agreeing to be responsible for your physical and mental well being  and take personal measures for your well being.   

Refund Policy:

Life happens and situations arise that keep us from attending. Cancellations received 4 weeks prior to the workshop date receive a full refund minus a $30 processing fee for day workshops. Cancellations made two weeks prior to the begin date are subject to a participant replacement and receive a refund minus a $75 processing fee if place in the workshop filled. All dancers can move the date to another workshop date if sick or an emergency arises if done prior to the workshop start day. If a participant is a no show for the workshop without communicating, registration payment will not be refunded.
